Calytris expects all suppliers, manufacturers and subcontractors involved in producing our earrings to uphold the ethical, social, environmental and safety standards outlined in this Supplier Code of Conduct. This code serves as our minimum requirement for all partners.

Labour & Human Rights

Suppliers must respect human rights and prohibit any form of forced labour, bonded labour, child labour or human trafficking.
Workers must be free to choose employment and may leave their workplace after reasonable notice.
All employees shall receive fair wages that meet or exceed local legal minimum wage requirements, with legally mandated overtime pay and clearly documented working hours.
Workers have the right to freedom of association and collective bargaining in accordance with local law. No discrimination based on race, gender, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation or nationality is permitted in hiring, compensation, promotion or termination.
Workplaces must be free from verbal, physical and sexual harassment or abuse.

Health & Safety

Suppliers shall maintain a safe, clean and healthy working environment for all factory staff.
Facilities must meet fire safety requirements, include adequate emergency exits, ventilation and protective equipment where needed.
Machinery and production tools must be regularly maintained to prevent injury.
Workers receive proper safety training for handling metals, polishing and chemical materials.
Housing facilities (if provided) must be hygienic, safe and meet basic living standards.

Environmental Responsibility

Suppliers shall comply with all local environmental laws and regulations.
Wastewater, solid waste and hazardous substances must be properly treated and disposed of.
Metal polishing, plating and cleaning processes must control pollution and avoid unregulated discharge.
We encourage partners to reduce waste, save energy and explore recycled raw materials wherever feasible.
Packaging waste should be minimized during production.

Business Integrity

Suppliers must conduct business honestly and reject bribery, corruption, fraud or falsification of records.
All product specifications, material composition and test reports must be truthful. For our earrings, material declarations for titanium and S925 sterling silver must be accurate. Nickel and lead content must comply with relevant international jewelry safety requirements.
Suppliers shall protect confidential information about Calytris designs, product plans and customer data.

Ethical Sourcing & Traceability

Suppliers are required to trace raw material sources and provide material documentation upon request.
Conflict minerals and illegally sourced metals are strictly prohibited.
Suppliers must notify Calytris promptly if any material or production process changes.

Compliance & Audits

Suppliers agree to maintain records to demonstrate compliance with this code.
Calytris reserves the right to conduct announced or unannounced factory audits. Non-compliance must be corrected within an agreed timeline. Repeated or serious violations may result in termination of cooperation.

Our Expectation

Suppliers shall communicate this code to their own subcontractors and ensure the standards flow through the entire supply chain.
